DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! After booking one night at this hotel via Booked.net, I was contacted directly by the hotel to inform me that they had a minimum stay of four nights during full moon period. There was no mention/warning of this when I booked. They told me that I had to either book extra nights or stay at the "sister hotel" which was further away from the full moon party. I insisted that they let us stay where i had booked and they would not agree. By this time I was unable to find alternative accommodation in Phangan for the party. When we arrived, the hotel looked much worse than the photos they had sent me of the sister hotel. The room was dark, smelly and dirty. the bathroom looked like a prison bathroom and was filthy with used, dirty soap still in the shower. Nothing to separate the shower area from the bathroom/toilet section. The toilet would not flush properly, resulting in us having to leave our room just to go to the toilet. Also the shower would not drain properly meaning we were standing in the showers filth. I was worried I may catch a disease from this hotel. As for the price, it should be much much lower, I have stayed in palaces compared to this place for the same price. Breakfast was meant to be included also but as far as we could tell, there was nowhere even available to have breakfast. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpfull. I would love to know how our stay would have been had we been at the one I had originally booked. I will also be contacting the hotel with a letter of complaint in the hope that i will get my money back. What an absolute joke and disgrace!
Hated everything about this hotel.
